When it comes to backing up data, IT professionals agree that a business should follow the 3-2-1 rule: 3 copies of the data, 2 different storage media, and 1 copy off-site.
Backing up data is just one piece of the puzzle. Companies need a way to recover that data in the event of an outage or loss. Keeping a local copy for quick recovery, or recovering to compute resources in the cloud, provides an option for businesses to get back on their feet after a loss.
We will be discussing the different options available to businesses in today’s world of backing up your data, as well as creating a redundant system that will allow your business to still operate while you rebuild and recover whatever was lost (or in the case of “Ransomware”, held hostage).
By using the resources available today, having a Disaster Recovery system in place can be affordable and lifesaving to a business when disaster strikes.
